KYOTO MUSIC

Glen has spent over 35 years at the heart of the live side of the music industry. Starting his love for everything live as a drummer in many indie, rock & punk bands…

Cutting his teeth in the early days working for the Manic Street Preachers and seeing how larger shows get put together, Mr Rowe was hooked!

In 1999 Glen started the UK’s first full tour production company, CATO. Taking care of bands & artists on the road’s needs was his passion. Over the 16 years of running CATO, Glen looked after over 100 acts as a Tour Director.

In 2000 Glen started working with the young band MUSE, a relationship that would last for 18 years, going from splitter vans in small clubs to private jets & stadium shows, moving from Tour Manager to becoming one of their managers focusing on the live side of the bands business.

With his incredible team at CATO, they went on to start the UK’s first “Roadie School" CATO Academy, in 2005. Over the 21 years of giving young people their start, CATO (then named NEKO, now KATO) has given over 1,000 young people jobs in the live events industry…

Creating & running studios (recording and rehearsal) is another passion for Glen. NEKO opened four rooms in Wandsworth and had the world’s biggest artists take shelter there.

In 2018 Glen bought SW19 studios in Wimbledon, in partnership with Mat Podd, which has fast become London’s busiest rehearsal studio.

Currently Glen is the Tour Director for Craig David.

He is dedicated to giving the next generation the skills, spaces and opportunities to thrive. Glen channels his passion for live performance into building a sustainable future for the industry he loves.
